Look: Lacy, floral, and delicately flirtatious.  The ‘Isabel’ set has become a favorite among my growing intimates collection because though seemingly simple, the little details make it so appealing. Enchanting signature Journelle lace with fine tulle beautifully serrated along the outer edges of the balconette bra straps, cups, and bikini. It’s like poetry. The traditional French balconette shape is incredibly charming paired with the floral lace and mesh detail. The bikini, with its decorative front and cheeky shape, is to die for.

This set has been produced in an array of alluring colore options but is only currently available in Night, Noir, and Cerise (on Sale). The ‘Isabel’ is typically featured in new colors for a limited time every year. The color I am wearing in this shoot is Lilac which is no longer available but the others are just as stunning. Some colors also come with a gorgeous suspender belt for a full set. The back of the bra and pantie aren't lacy but a simple soft-to-the-touch mesh instead that is long lasting and breathable. The back of this set is pretty simple compared to the front and could have definitely used a little more detail for my preference but I still think its super cute.

The bra looks great under all outfits I’ve worn it with. Nevertheless, being that it is a bit opaque, if you consider yourself to have dark/contrasted or protruding nipples I would recommend wearing a tank top with it under thin or light colored material. Unless you’re like me and could give two shits if your nipples show. Lol after all they’re just nipples and EVERYONE has them.

Feel: Like royalty. This is a set fit for a princess. I feel very feminine and dainty when I wear it. Though unlined and a bit sheer, the cups of the Isabel bra - like pretty much all Journelle bras - are very supportive. The lace, though delicate in appearance does not feel flimsy at all. It isn’t itchy or irritating which is an issue I tend to have with mostly lace bras. The best part about it is that I have had this set for two years and it has not stretched out of place or diminished in quality one bit and lets just say… it’s made its rounds ;).

Fit/Sizing: For this set I purchased my true size 30G. When shopping the Journelle collection I generally tend to size up in the bands and get 32F’s in most of their bras being that their bands run on the smaller end and can be a bit too tight. Most customers I worked with while I was an associate at Journelle also preferred to do so. However, being that this is mostly lace and mesh which tends to be more stretchy, I went for my true size and it did not feel too tight nor cut into my skin. The fit is definitely true to size. I chose a small in the bikini.

Made in Bra Sizes: 30C-30G, 32A-32G, 34A-34E, 36B-36D

Pricing: Affordable luxury! My favorite thing about shopping the Journelle collection is the fact that for such luxurious, great quality, and timeless pieces, it does not cost a fortune. When I purchase a Journelle set it almost feels like a steal. It's beautiful luxury lingerie that is able to be worn on a daily basis and repetitively at such a low price compared to other luxury lingerie brands. It doesn't get any better than this. I've purchased this set for approximately $122 in total. While that's definitely more costly than your average poorly made Victoria's Secret set, the obvious difference in design, fit, and quality definitely makes up for it.
